Hey girl hey. And boy.
Okay so you probably read the title and thought I’m turning into a fashion & beauty guru but don’t worry. I’m still a lazy dramatic grandma potato. Unfortunately. (and yes, that sentence totally made sense) I went to Winners a few days ago and got a couple of pieces for school. I decided to blog about it since I feel like some of these are pretty essential for school since they make you look more put together. I can’t explain how many times I looked at my closet and thought “there’s literally nothing to wear” because there seriously isn’t. And I end up wearing the same thing for 5 days. But now I got more pieces which means I will have something to wear. For 3 days.
Then it’s back to the “there’s literally nothing to wear” routine. Anyways, I think that going back to school shopping makes school seem 0.1% less depressing. Sooo let’s get started.
- Denim Jeans
Jeans are pretty essential for school since they go with basically everything. My old jeans got ruined because of slime failure with my friend 😂 so I got myself some new ones.
2. Black Jeans
Just like the first one, black jeans are also pretty essential. They make outfits look more classy and put together.
3. Denim Jacket
Believe it or not, I actually don’t remember ever having a denim jacket before. I wanted one for the longest time since it goes with everything. It also has 2 choices for the style of the sleeves. And best of all, the buttons are super easy to do. Normal buttons take forever but these are just clip-on’s so yeah.
4. Maroon Blouse
It looks like I’m a pretty fat grandma but I actually got it a bit over-sized for comfort. Blouses are really cute for school. You could wear it if you’re feeling classy or just anytime you want. The only downside about it though, is that the buttons are pretty hard. It looks more like rips and some thread gets in the way but other than that, it’s fine.
5. Maroon Tee
This tee is long and stretchy but it’s also a bit sheer so I mainly got it to put under the maroon blouse.
6. Cute Cap
My old school had a no-hat policy but you could still wear it before and after school to keep the sun away. Plus can we just talk about cute it is?? Winners had rose gold, silver, dark green, black and this. I decided to go with this since I have some pastel pink things in my wardrobe plus the hat could add a bit more to a plain outfit. Um why do I keep saying plus? I’m probably getting math-teacher-itis.
So yeah, that’s pretty much it. A bit of a short simple blog today. By the way, what should I call this back to school marathon? Hm…….Bayanchool? Nah. BTS? That also stands for a lot of things. Schoolce? Schoyance? Schyance? I don’t even know. Leave me suggestions in the comments.
Did you go back to school shopping?
I’ll see you guys tomorrow!
