How To Make Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Hey girl hey. And boy.

I was considering including this recipe along with some other ones since it’s really simple but when I looked at the number of posts I uploaded this month, it didn’t look too good so here we are.ย ๐Ÿ˜‚ย As you can tell by the title, today we’re going to be making chocolate covered pretzels. You can use any type of chocolate you want but I personally think white chocolate works best. And best of all, this doesn’t require any oven or stove mess so hopefully no fires will be started because of my horrible cooking skills.๐Ÿ˜‚ย But anyways, let’s get started.

What You Need

  • Chocolate (white, milk or dark – little chips or pieces are more suitable)
  • Pretzels
  • A Bowl Or Cup
  • Plate Or Tray
  • Parchement Paper (aka baking paper)
  • Tongs (or be lazy like me and use your hands ๐Ÿ™ƒ)
  • Toppings (sprinkles, m&ms, coloured sugar – or be lazy like me and not use any ๐Ÿ™ƒ)

Step 1

Melt your chocolate (45 seconds in the microwave is perfect)

Step 2ย

Dip your pretzels in the melted mixture. You should probably use tongs and not make a mess like me. Make sure you have parchment paper on top of the plate or tray you’re using.

Step 3

Add your toppings – I didn’t have anything on hand so I just used sugar but you can use chocolates, nuts or anything really.

Step 4

Refrigerate for about 3-6 hours. If you want to do overnight like me, make sure to separate your pretzels or else they’ll come out as one big piece (#whenyoufailateveryrecipe)

Step 5 *most important step*

Enjoyyy!

This recipe kind of ruined my streak of 7 steps but it’s a really tasty and easy snack to make. You can even add summer colours and make it a summer treat. As usual, make sure to send some through the screen if you end up making these and I’ll see you in my next post.ย ๐Ÿ˜‚

Ahhhhh, they look SO GOOOOD…..Chocolate and pretzels are a match made in heaven. Someone should try this with those little peanut-butter-filled pretzel nuggets, that’d be amazing. I’ve been meaning to post some recipes on my blog, I have one for an awesome peanut-butter-chocolate smoothie. Great posy!
