Hey girl hey. And boy.
Aah it’s been a while. I’ve been super sick for a few days and really sleepy for the past two days and basically slept way more than usual. I’m going to make a full post very soon on how to cure an upset stomach because I know y’all google your symptoms and end up with 10 diseases – we’ve been there. 😂 But meanwhile, I’m going to be crossing tags and awards off my to-do list so expect them here and there in the next couple months. And yes, I’m totally going to go through all of them. Take my word for it.😂 You guys are actually overwhelming me with nominations and it’s making me run out of Kleenex because I’m being considered for a lot of these?! What? Am I the new regina george? Haha okay let’s not be full of ourselves here but seriously, thank you soo much. 😂 And thank you to the amazing Sarah at Forever Aspiring Writer for tagging me to do this!
I know I slacked last month for books but today I sat down after school at a pizza shop and finished a lot of this really interesting book which you will see in February Wrappers. I was snacking on a box of fries and I can’t believe I finished the whole thing but hey, I’ve been slacking with food for the past few days and yOunG peOpLe nEeD aN aVerAge oF 20o0 cAloriEs pEr DaY – aka the Canadian fast food excuse because they have to start posting calorie counts now and don’t want you to feel fat. 😂 ANYWAYS wow that was a suppper long intro but I thought I’d update you a bit here and there. Let’s just get starteddd.
How many books are too many in a series?
Honestly, when I was younger I LOVED series. Cupcake Club, Babysitter Club (the OG Ann Martin novels), Saranormal and I would’ve said 15 because I loved them but now I’m more into single book novels so maybe 3-5 is all I can handle because how dare you leave me on cliffhangers 10 times in a row? 😂 Okay that was a run on sentence – my english teacher will sue me.
How do you feel about cliff-hangers?
Speak of the devil. Jk jk but I didn’t see this coming for some reason. I love them but I also hate them. Like if the next book is coming soon then yess I love the suspense but if it’s just one book, no!! How could you even have the audacity to leave me with unanswered questions?! 😂 Like seriously, one book ended so suddenly with the girl not waking up and it did not do my heart justice. So no, if I read more cliff-hangers, I might be the one not waking up again. How’s that for an ending hmm? Okay that just went dark but no no no cheesy endings please. 😂
Hardback or paperback?
I used to read paperback because they were smaller books but everything in the library is now hardback and I love ittt. You can’t bend it and it just looks nice.
Guys, I think it’s time for a new My All Time post. Stay tuned but at the top of my head, Starstruck, If There’s No Tomorrow and When We Collided were really good. There’s so much more though. And I love all the Kasie West books!! Man, can I have the boys in those? Seriously, they do not exist.
Least favourite book?
Ohh. Well none that I read because I usually put them away if I don’t like them? I didn’t like Hung Up because I don’t like dialog. And I can’t read fantasy so Harry Potter is a no no. But yeah, nothing I’ve fully read and hated. You would know from my Biggest Turn-downs When Picking Out A New Book post. *cough*selfplug*cough*
Love Triangle… Yes or No?
Omggg my current book has that and it’s really interesting so yeah? But I love the books where two people like each other but they both have people that like them from both ends and then those people end up liking each other and then everyone is happy again and yeah that never happens because books don’t always have happy endings but don’t ruin my optimistic state.
The most recent book you couldn’t finish?
Clean My Space. Great manual but it’s long and I don’t really read manuals. I love the author though and her writing style but we all know Bayance is unteachable when it comes to cooking and cleaning.
A book you’re currently reading?
Okay fine it’s called “Deadly Little Games” and it’s part of a series called Touch but I haven’t read the first two – oops. It still makes sense though because she mentions the past a lot.
The last book you recommended to someone?
I dooo not remember. I usually recommend stuff in blog comments but I lost track.
Oldest book you’ve read (based on publication date)?
Hmm other than the Quran, I think The Outsiders released in 1983.
Newest book you’ve read (based on publication date)?
Most books I read are from 2016 or around there but Girl Made Of Stars was released in May of 2018 so I think that’s the newest.
Hmm Kasie West and Gayle Forman.
Buying books or borrowing them?
BORROWINGGG! I’m fortunate enough to have libraries all around me and I even volunteer there so I’m obviously going to get books for free. What are libraries for? Plus, when you buy it, you read it once and you’re done you know? But I guess that’s how it is with food…
A book you dislike that everyone else loves?
Harry Potter hands down. I haven’t read it but I don’t know, it doesn’t seem my type.
Bookmarks or dog-ears?
Dog ears!! Bookmarks are hard to keep track of. Except for Quran but that has a string attached to the stem of the book so it’s not like a piece of plastic I have to carry around.
A book you can reread over and over?
To be honest, none. Like I’ll eventually know what’s happening you know. But I think all the Kasie West books and If There’s No Tomorrow. Ooh and maybe The Other Woman. And obviously the Quran but talking fiction, the ones above.
Can you read while listening to music?
Neverrr. I can read with background noise but not music. Imagine me trying to read and then Billie Eilish in the back like WHERE’S MY MIIIIIND – yes, bellyache is stuck in my head.
Multiple POVs or one POV?
POV? Is that a disease? Oh wait point of view? ONLY ONE! I will never tolerate third person stories. Well I have in the past but still. OONEE. No wait. Like different character’s point of view? Wow I can’t read. Good job, Bayance. Yes, I love that. But only when there’s two or else it gets too hectic. Although My Husband’s Secret had multiple and I loved it. And the book was rated 21+…oops.
Do you read a book in one sitting or over multiple days on average?
Depends on how good the book is and how much time I have. In the summer, definitely one or two sittings. Usually, Sunday mornings on my bed or at night but now with school, whenever I find the time to continue.

Waaaait a second. Those are only 19 questions. Sarah, we’re going to sue you. Ohh nvm the last question is who do you want to tag? What a good question.
I’m sure everyone is a bookworm at heart. Like if you can tolerate my lengthy posts, you can totally tolerate a 400 page book right? Wait guys, if you compile all my posts together, would it have more words than a book? LET’S WRITE A BOOK! Okay anyways I won’t pick on the non-book bloggers but you better do this if you want to.
Anddd that’s all for today. I need to sleep now but I hope you all have a blessed Friday and read your books, kids.
Answer some questions above in the comments!
I’ll see you in my next post.
