Reading My Old Corny Diary Entries ft. Ava

Hey girl hey. And boy.

As you may know, today is Valentines day and what better way to celebrate than to expose myself? Posting my diary online for the public to see, of course. 😂Okay but in the comment section of my 3 Reasons Why You Should Start A Diary post *cough*goreaditandgetyourselfadiary*cough*😂 – Ava and I discussed a collab idea and here it is! The tea will be fully spilled on my crushes. I’m only going to pick one crush from 2015 because that was a while ago and none of my friends will sabotage me with it – I hope – but it’s probably the brattiest I’ve been proven in history. 😂 Before we get started, here are a few things you should know.

• I have two best friends that I mention a lot, R will represent one and Lolly will represent the one I mention most. There was so much friendship drama in my diary but today I’m only picking out phrases from when I mention boy drama. Oh and Sammy is another friend that I actually lost contact with but I mention her a few times.
• The main crush here we’ll call Pickle. The friends I know that read this already know about him but I literally told no one at the time so it’s really funny to look back at.
• Three boys I mention we’ll call Ronaldo, Justin and Dino. Justin caused problems between Lolly and I while Ronaldo also caused problems but he was more chill. And Dino is just that one annoying kid.
• I’ll tell you some background story along the way but for now, that’s all you need to know haha.

Oct 1 

Omg! Happy first day of October! I’m so tired of Sammy and I’m going to kill her. She keeps saying I like Pickle and Dino. Well you know Pickle is not that bad like I kinda talk to him but Dino I hate him! And I don’t mean that as I hate him I like him. No! He’s so bossy and such an idiot. She’s calling Pickle my little boyfriend like can you not. She’s still upset because I shipped her with Armadillo (sorry for these names guys). I’m still surprised no one is saying Lolly likes Pickle because gurllll oh yes she does.

That mood switch though – “happy first day of october – I’m sick of herrr!” Guys I was actually such a brat but yes, Dino was an idiot at the time. And I was so convinced Lolly liked Pickle so let’s hope she doesn’t read this.

 

Oct 11 

At M’s birthday party, we talked about crushes. Let me be real with you – I did like Pickle last year and wanted him to be in my class but now he likes the other girls so bye Felicia. And guess what? Kim likes Pickle too! That makes no sense. Now all the girls like Pickle so again, bye Felicia!

HAHAHHAHAHAH everyone loved Pickle but all my friends just diss him now. And you guys, I said Bye Felicia every two seconds.

 

Jan 27 

Aye long time no see. Mashed, Ronaldo and Justin made this big problem about sexism. They were being so sexist. World war 4 even happened on Edmodo and this morning our teacher called us to talk in the hallway. Ronaldo was telling us to leave them alone which doesn’t even make sense because he’s the one who always texts ME and I don’t respond so.

Aaaah Edmodo! It was literally the elementary school twitter and we had like a million fights on there. Notice how I skipped World War 3? A major war has occured previously so Ronaldo, Justin and I had serious beef. AND HAHAHAH me being salty at the end – he texted me on Facebook and my dad used to get the messages on his phone so that was pretty hilarious. I was so rude to him thooo.

 

Jan 28 

Ugh! Justin is so disrespectful like he goes back to ignoring me and talking to Lolly 24/7 like I don’t really care if he likes her but he’s being super rude. First he’s like “that’s why you shouldn’t trust her” and then he’s like “no don’t be like her” like HOW RUDE! RESPECT? What the f is he trying to do? Trying to make me and Lolly enemies? Like I’m literally Taylor, Lolly is Selena and Justin is Justin.

HAHAHAH it looks like I like Justin but I don’t. He was just really annoying. “RESPECT” – omggg. And now you see where I got the inspiration of Justin. Justin is Justin.

 

Feb 23 

Yesterday we had a field trip and Pickle wasn’t there. I said I won’t be honest in this diary but I will for once. I don’t think Pickle likes me anymore. He totally likes Sasha 1 which sucks but I’m just going to move on in life. I don’t even need a man in the first place!

He didn’t like me to begin withhh – humble yourself gurl. But that’s right – you don’t need a mansss (but please get married at some point)

 

Feb 24 

I don’t care about Ronaldo and Justin. It’s just Lolly is so connected to them and I can tell she used to like Pickle because she copied everything I did an then since she can tell he doesn’t like her, she moved on to someone else. I can tell she’s not over him. She basically stole him and she does everything I do like guurl. I don’t know why I’m saying this because someone might be reading this right now and if you are then, bye Felicia!

THINGS ARE GETTING SALTY! And sorry, I exposed you on my blog – probably gonna regret life decisions. “She stole him” dang that entitlementttt. Me and Lolly are great friends but I always had outbursts like this in my diary hahaha. The jealousy was real thooo.

 

Feb 25 

Okay I need to rant about something. I am so sick of Ronaldo and Justin  like honestly they’re funny but I don’t really care about them. Lolly is just attached to them and since I hang out with her I’m always around them. They keep causing fights and omg Justin has 0 respect like ugh.

They keep whispering and I know what they talk about. It’s just Lolly doesn’t and she’s so into their trap like can you not? They want to control who we talk to and they make everything terrible ugh. Plus Justin and Lolly are a pair but that leaves me with Ronaldo and uh bye Felicia. Justin Bieber is bae here. My mind is possessed with Roanldo and Justin and I’m sick of it. So Lolly, go do your googoo eyes at Justin but don’t put me in this.

“SO INTO THEIR TRAP”, “0 RESPECT”, “GOOGOO EYES” – you guys, Lolly might just kill me if she’s reading this but this was a long time ago. 😂 My mind was POSSESSED even though I could’ve easily walked away. And I had the biggest Justin Bieber obsession that reignited again but I don’t like the Justin we’re mentioning here. And dang I can imagine my frizzy-haired self just going all out while writing this. Do you guys sense the bratiness yet? 😂

 

March 31

Ronaldo wore the same shirt as me today like ugh copycat and everyone was pointing it out and I’m like ya cool bye Felicia. Whatever.

April 7

I don’t like Pickle anymore like I honestly have other things to think about so I’m comfortable talking about him like it’s just Pickle. Okay why am I telling you this?

I have no idea but yes, it’s just Pickle. Just plain old Pickle.

 

April 13

Today we played floor hockey against Pickle’s team and he told me he couldn’t concentrate from my perfume? Like does he have a problem – I didn’t even put any on and I clearly smelt like sweat. So either he was being sarcastic or he has a problem with his nose.

You guys, I wrote every single thing about my interactions with Pickle because we had different classes. This is actually insane. Someone call the therapist. But hahaha I remember this and I was so confused. And yes, floor hockey is a thing in Canada – don’t judge. 😂

 

April 20

Ugh Ronaldo, Justin and Rino are so annoying! Actually, they’re jerks and losers like ugh!

April 22

Today was movie night and I was with my friend R talking to Afro. We were talking about crushes and I asked him if Pickle liked Sasha 1 or Sasha 2 and he said no someone else. Then who? R? Lolly? And then A.M. said “no Pickle’s gay he likes me” like wow!

I LOST IT!!! AM’s joke was actually funny in this situation like I can’t. 😂😂 And we were so confused because we were so convinced he liked Sasha 1 or Sasha 2 but then again, Afro may be lying. Afro goes to my school – I should ask him again.

 

May 4

Ughh so last week Ronaldo and Justin were so annoying. There was a new seating plan and they kept whispering behind me and being weird. Then Dino joined them and explosions happened. It’s easy to talk over Ronaldo and Justin but Dino swallowed a microphone and we need to yell and swear to get him to shut up and we got in trouble and Lolly started crying and ugh!

Bayance swearing? Oh no no no. Grandma Bayance is coming to the rescue. This was actually so annoying because the guys annoyed us everywhere. And omg this one time in music class I yelled shut the hell up (and guys, that was a swear word) and my music teacher pulled me aside and said, “thank you. I’ve been wanting to say it to him for years.” like can we just appreciate that for a second? Okay we’ll stop being mean to Dino.

I didn’t mention the boys after this but basically I focused on strengthening my friendships and just ignoring boy drama overall. We all ended on good terms and Ronaldo messaged me last year with this apology like that’s actually so sweet – I should apologize to my whole year for my bratty presence to be honest. But to wrap this whole thing up, we’ll end off with a paragraph from February.

Feb 26

Ugh! I don’t like Pickle anymore. He is such a jerk!! Like last year, he stood out to me because he was nice funny and respectful but this year because of his popularity, he is none of those things. He is such a J (this popular stuck-up guy in our grade but he probably changed now). Whenever I say anything he tells me to shut up like ew shut yourself please. I hate himmm and I’m done.

“Ew shut yourself please” – my English teacher is going to hunt me down. 😂 Nice, funny, respectful – bish where? He dumped apple juice on your hair once but in conclusion, people change. 😂 And we most likely are in love with the idea of someone and not the person themselves. Like if you have a crush now, do you accept all their flaws and mistakes? I guess I sort of just hung on to the old memories and the old version of this person and was kinda blinded to see the new one. It’s hard to get over crushes but you’ll get through it. This Pickle guy was probably the longest but I replaced him with another crush mwahaha. 😂 Jk jk I just travelled a lot and eventually forgot about him. I’ll probably make a future post on how to get over crushes but I’ll tell you that time is key and just learning to wake up and see people in their true colours. I’m not saying they’re bad people – it’s just we never fully know anyone. So my point is,
