Attempting To Figure Out My Future Career ft. career quizzes

Hey girl hey. And boy.

I have reached a point in my life where I have to make some pretty big decisions that will ultimately lead to what job or sector I want to be doing for the rest of it. Growing up, I’ve always wanted to be a teacher. I loved teaching my stuffed animals, loved helping my classmates, loved presenting, helping people, creating activities and discussions – and while I still love all of that to this day (okay maybe not the stuffed animals part), I can’t teach for the life of meeee. I can’t deal with kids and I have 0 patience when it comes to anything. I want to leave the school doors with a new beginning – not coming back to teach the same course over and over again. Besides, Canada has too many teachers anyways and I want to do something male-dominated to pave ways for other women to step up.

After the teaching door was closed, I thought okay well I love human rights and justice so I’ll just work with the UN or be a lawyer. But then there’s this other part of me who’s good at math and I just realized how entertaining I find math sometimes. My ultimate dream job is to become a politician so I either want to be financially literate and go into business sectors (containing english AND math) orrr be legally literate and go into law school (only english). I love law, politics, history and interacting with people so I don’t know anymoreee. Can I be a lawyer, businesswoman, accountant AND politician? Ugh y’all I’ll trust God on this one but I also gotta do my part so into the quizzes we go.

Eeekkk this was such a cool post to read! I love taking random bus feed quizzes, their addicting tbh πŸ˜‚ I don’t know what I want to do when I get a career but probably nothing that I have to go to college for… I’m definitely more of a creative person so I prefer jobs were you can really express yourself, like a photographer, chef etc.!
