Unboxing Kityp0p’s Giveaway Eggie Bag (trying face masks, false eyelashes and more)

AAAH THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I WIN A GIVEAWAY THROUGH A BLOG!! When Kityp0p announced the winners to her giveaway, I was so happy and it was so kind of her to do that to celebrate 700 followers. Funny story: I was actually the only one to enter the Eggie bag. And it was actually the bag that appealed to me the most so I was surprised no one entered it but maybe that’s because I may have left a “don’t enter this or else” followed by a just kidding which I didn’t actually mean so everyone was too scared to enter and I hoarded the whole thing to myself- ANYWAYS. Today I’m going to be unboxing and trying on things from the Eggie bag and this is in no way intended to brag I just wanted to share.

Also, I’m starting a new series called Inspired By where I try new blog topics or styles that aren’t in my niche so I thought why not start this off with the legend Kityp0p? All her posts are mostly pictures and it makes you feel as if you’re actually with her. My posts on the other hand are the exact opposite, I like to blast you all with my words you’re welcome, and I have to shrink my pictures because it feels weird taking up the whole page. Needless to say, this will be different. So without further ado, let’s get starteddd.

Highlighter

I know guys, I’m just the best at photography today. The highlighter is really pretty and I love the whole pink and holographic thing going on but it isn’t the easiest to apply and it’s a little chunky. But ah well, I don’t use highlighter anyways – love the packaging tho!

 

Popsocket

Do you guys see how pixelated this is? Roblox left the chat by now. Kityp0p, how do you manage? Anyways, I just LOVE this popsocket. It’s always handy for when I rest my phone down for workouts or youtube videos AND it has a pretty lavender design that matches my case like yes! And okay guys I see you judging my wallet style old grandpa phone case. It’s better for protection and it’s handy okay? Comfort doesn’t go out of style.

False Lashes

Aaah this is the first time I try false lashes and let’s just say – I’m terrible at everything beauty. I was watching a tutorial and she said not to apply it too close to your eyelash line or else your eyelashes will rip off so I was like sis not today and you could definitely see the gap there. Falsies look awful on me in person but in photos, they’re not too bad. Overall, it’s great quality but some excess eyelash glue stayed behind and I had to scrape off weird glue remains over the next two days. Glue remains, that’s totally a word. Omg I just realized I can’t use laughing emojis. Also, when I took it off, my lashes felt naked in a way so I feel bad for whoever wears falsies every day because you’ll literally look like a hairless cat when that’s actually not the case. Anyways, that was interesting!

 

Face Mask

Okay I failed again. Kityp0p never uses collages but it would be weird if I made the last three big, okay? So if you thought those were close ups of the moon, it’s actually my face but me trying to outrun a face reveal. Also, you know how you can’t go wrong with face masks? Yeah, I’m terrible at that too but I mixed it with a bit of lemon for a glow as the instructions said. This was a DIY kit and as you can see, I was literally terrible at everything to do with mixing and at one point, I made chicken soup out of the kit. It reminded me of the terrible slime days when I literally couldn’t mix anything (throwback). It was fine to apply at first; I used my fingers which probably wasn’t the best idea but it’s fine (two fines in the same sentence – sue me). When it started to dry up, I felt my face starting to close up like the maze in maze runner and as you can see, I actually became a 245-year-old grandma. After ten minutes of discomfort, it was time to wash it off. It took me another ten minutes to wash it off and aah it was so hard. I thought it was going to be a satisfying peel but no, it was like scrubbing Patrick’s belly button. That was a weird example but overall, I would probably recommend a pre-made mask/cream. Save yourself the hassle or just don’t screw everything up like me. Also Kityp0p probably had a good experience with this so no shade to the product.

I almost ended this off with a ‘and that’s all for today’ oops. Before I get into questions, thank you so much to kityp0p for hosting this giveaway and for being today’s inspiration.
